Thanks for the response Chris. I just built a 4-pin female to cigarette lighter adapter last night. I found one place in town that carries the 4-pin xlr's and realized they were pretty cheap to make. What do you have?

Glen,
I live in Los Angeles county area and I'm interested. I have some questions. 1) You mentioned you have FCP HD installed on your G5, what other software does it come with if any? 2) With the purchase of the G5 are you also including the CDs and license for FCP HD and other software that comes with it? 3) Apple is selling a dual 2.0 Ghz G5 for $1,900 (*refurbished) with 90 day free support and one year warranty. Why are you asking for $2,500 for a used G5 without support and warranty? *What are Apple Certified Reconditioned Products? Apple Certified Reconditioned Products are pre-owned Apple products that undergo Apple's stringent refurbishment process prior to being offered for sale. These products have been returned under Apple's Return and Refund Policies. While only some units are returned due to technical issues, all units undergo Apple's stringent quality refurbishment process. (According to Apple's website) Here's Apple's link to verify the selling price I mentioned - scroll down to find the dual 2.0 Ghz G5 http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL....3.1.1.0?75,54 Here's Apple's explanation of what's a refurbished computer http://store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Im...certified.html Please provide the answers to my sincere questions. If the price is right I may buy it from you and pick it up myself. --William

the link to apple's store has timed out but I'll vouch for dual 2's at 1999... they also sell the orginal dual 1.8 that allows for 8gb of ram for 1799...
not to mention this Tuesday all sorts of new stuff coming out... upgrades to towers and powerbooks not to mention my speculation that we'll see: iHome - G4 home entertainment unit iPhone sonething... itunes over the phone... a new iPod flash based player. |

FS: Canon XL-1, 3x lens and extras
Selling my XL-1, 3x lens and extras.
Haven't used my XL-1 for awhile. It is in great shape, never abused. The 3x Zoom wide angle lens (3.4-10.2mm) has less than 5 hrs use. Stanard 16x Zoom lens. Both USA models. The extras I am referring to are: 1) a Tamrac TEK series padded case designed specifically for the XL-1 (evergreen). 2) VariZoom VZ-Pro-L remote lens control http://www.varizoom.com/controllers/prol.php 3) Canon EF Adapter XL (to mount EOS lens), used once. 4) Hoya Multi-Coated Cir-Polarizing filter, Hoya Intensifier filter, Tiffen ND Grad 6 filter, UV filter. 5) Extra Battery BP-941 I am the original owner of all this equipment. Camera comes with all original items and boxes; 16x lens, EVF, stereo mic, manual & battery charger, battery BP-927. I want to try to sell all this together. Shipping extra. Please make reasonable offers. I can e-mail pictures if someone is interested. I'm in Seattle, WA call Will @ 206.782.8502 or email wbarker@qwest.net |
