I need to purchase a used or new but working sony trv-950 camcorder, I don't want a refurbished one anything but a refurb. Since the DCH- 1000 the updated model of the 950 is out and costs 1100 I am willing to pay 960 or less for it

A friend has the below for sale. First $3800 takes it all:

1 Canon XL-1
1 Canon XL-1s
(Both cameras come with 16x lenses)
4 BP-930 batteries
1 MA-300 Shoulder and XLR adapter
1 MA-100 Shoulder and XLR adapter
1 Petrol PCUB camera bag with backpack adpater(so you can carry it like a backpack)
1 Canon battery charger
1 12 volt adapter(to hook up to battery belts)
1 wireless remote control
1 Microphone equalizer and some Misc stuff

Everything is in great condition the XL-1s is flawless. the xl-1 has a small chip on the audio door(minor). Greg always takes care of his equipment so there have never been any items that needed to be fixed. Never dropped. He has some pictures if you are interested. You mention that a friend has the equipment for sale but you state in your info that "you always take care of your equipment." You are not selling your gear but a friends. How am I to know that he also takes great care? I am just soemwhat curious.

Sorry George for the confusion. I pasted the info from Greg's (the owner) e-mail and didn't edit it properly. Greg takes very good care of his equipment. I've used both cameras recently and can attest to his care. If I had the money, I'd buy this package as it's very reasonable but I just purchased a Sony PD-170 and can't afford it. Greg is a local pro shooter who is downsizing his operation. He asked if I would post this package to the forum. Hope this clears up the confusion. If you are interested, I'll help get you in direct contact with him.
