Canon GL2 For Sale
I am selling a mint-condition Canon GL2. This has been a problem-free camera for me. There is about 20 HRs of usage on it; therefore, it is almost new. It comes complete with all of the accessories, two Tiffen filters, and a professional, water-proof carrying case.
This baby doesn't have one single scratch on it. I've sold a few things on this forum, and none of them had problems. I don't want somebody to sell me their problem, and I sure as hell ain't going to sell somebody a camera that has any problem. The price for everything is $1400 Jason |

Anyone else? Consider the trade, or just selling the vx2000 outright. I have one possibility, going to wait for about another week to see if anything else comes up.

Zander,
I own half a dozen Super 8 cams, all great fun. You can spend as little as twenty bucks at a garage sale, to a grand for a complete rebuild on one. http://www.super8today.com/ http://home.pacbell.net/mnyberg/super8mm/ http://www.thevideojunkie.com/s8/ http://www.super8guy.com/ ------------This one's really good. And for filmstock http://www.8mmfilmstock.com/ Are some good places to start. The Canon 1014Xl-s is one of the 'holy grails' of super 8 cams. I really like my Sankyo EM60, own two of them. Also my Elmo 612. Note that 'super 8 sound' stock is discontinued, so there's no use paying more for the 'sound' versions of various cameras. You'll have to record double system sound. There is some buzz right now, that Kodak, will discontinue the super 8 reversal stock. There are companies that will continue to 'can it' and sell it, along with the negative stock. Good luck, and have fun! |

E-Mail
Guys, can you resend those emails? I've just realized that I had to change my junk-mail protection filter before I could receive your emails.
I apologize for the trouble. jason |

Canon DM-50 mic
I have a Canon DM-50 shotgun mic that I don't use anymore. It can be used on several Canon camcorders with a Hot Shoe. This is a great little mic for those who want better audio than the on board mics on consumer camcorders provide.
The mic is compatible with the following camcorders: Elura 65 Elura 70 GL2 Optura 10 Optura 100MC Optura 20 Optura 30 Optura 40 Optura 60 Optura Pi XL2 ZR30MC ZR50MC ZR70MC The mic is in good condition with the only signs of wear being the lettering having been slightly rubbed from transporting it in a day pack. It requires no batteries as it is powered by the Hot Shoe of the camera. These sell for $125-150 just about any where...I'll take $75 shipped, insured to your door for it. Send me an email if interested, editor@texasoutdoorsman.com. Thanks!

Canon GL2
I would like to answer a few of your questions on this forum.
First, this GL2 was only used to tape my English classes. It has NOT been exposed to any harsh weather. It has never been to any beach either. We all know that sand can do serious damage to your tape head. Second, I am selling this camcorder only because I've realized that I am never going to have time to shoot my short film. I am a full-time teacher. I sold my XL1 on this forum after I shut down my wedding video business over a year ago. I bought the GL2 right after that. It has NEVER given me any problems. This is a PERFECT camera inside and out. ps. This GL2 was NEVER used as a tape rewinder or playback VCR. I have a small Sony DCR-PC5 for that. So, don't worry.
