WANTED: DVD burner (MUST be Mac compatible)
I'm looking to buy an external DVD writer for my mac (preferably Lacie). The burner must be in very good condition and compatible with my system; 700MHz, OSs 10.2 & 9.2.2. Please let me know the brand of your burner, its condition, which authoring software it comes with and how much you would like for it. Thank you. (I'm located in Cambridge, MA.)

How much do you think the postage would be to Ireland?
Paul P.S. You are looking quite a bit for it, what would be the least you would accept? |

DVD Burner
Hi,
A Lacie would run you about $120-$160, depending on the condition. You can look into a Sony DRU-530, or DRX-530UL. This is an 8x, firewire, external DVD burner. Sony is a good brand, and for some reason, it costs less than the Lacie on Ebay. Spend $50-$70 and you can get a quality burner. By the way, you can buy just about any external burner on Ebay and it will work with Toast Titanium. You just have to download PatchBurn 4.0 to make your Toast/Mac recognize the external burner. Again, there is really no need to spend the extra money on a Lacie, because there are other dependable brands on the market. |
