If the asking price seems a bit much, I'm willing to take other offers. I would rather sell my equipment to one of the fine members of this community than some schmoe on eBay, even at less than I'm asking. I really would rather not get rid of the equipment, but I need to build a new editing workstation so, if you're interested, I would love to hear what you'd offer.
Thanks, Shawn McBee |

Sorry
Sorry, but I cannot go any lower than 1000. I'll even throw in a CompUSA two year warranty.

XL2/G5 Production Outfit -- Everything You Need
I've made the decision to go back to writing and still photography and would like to sell my production package as one unit.
Here goes: Editing Station: Apple G5 with 2 ghz dual processors, 2 gigs memory, (2) 250 gig hard drives with 250 gig Lacie backup drive (w/Retrospect software). Two studio flat monitors, one 20" and one 15". (Having two screens is a real pleasure when using FCP). Bella professional editing keyboard with shuttle and jog. This setup has operated flawlessly with not one hiccup (see my demo reel at http://www.wordsandpixels.com). Software: Production Suite (FCP HD 4.5, Motion, DVD Studio Pro, Soundtrack, LiveType, Cinema Tools, Compressor, Quicktime Professional), OS X (latest version) Transfer deck: JVC SR-VS30U w/ remote control and Firewire cable Two Tapco S5 powered 100 watt audio monitors Camera and field production: Canon XL2 with 20x lens and UV filter, 2-year extended warranty, 3 batteries (2 reg, one HD). Less than 20 rolls of tape run through it. Lowell Litebag custom camera case (for XL2) Century .7 wide angle adapter (the Canon 3x lens is useless, as it has backfocus problems when used on the XL2). The adapter is terrific, and allows zoom-through. Sennheiser G2 combo wireless kit (with AT lavalier mike, handheld AT mike, transmitter, receiver) Lowel DV Creator lighting kit (four lights: DP, Tota, V-Light, Rifa softbox); spare bulbs for everything. No more than 10 hrs use. Bogen Manfrotto 525MVB black tripod w/503 head, soft padded case, spreader Bescor small on-camera light w/20 and 40 watt switch, spare bulbs, extra 6 v battery Paid more than $15,000 at B&H in February, selling $11,500 firm. |

I will take the XL-2 alone if you are willing to split it up.

You might get more for everything if you split it all up, but who knows. If you do split things up, lets talk about the mics. Thanks.

Lacie
I know this ad is really old, but i was just wondering if you still have the Lacie DVD-RW drive. If so, are you willing to sell it for a more reasonable price? You can do a search on Ebay to determine a fair selling price.
