Hi Neil,
Just to be clear here, you're selling the white paper that you prepared, a document which describes how you've configured your PC for burning three DVDs simultaneously. I have no problem with you wanting to sell this, but your post really belongs in our Private Classifieds forum since it is a "for sale" item. Or call it a donation, or support, or whatever you want, but you're asking for money in exchange for information, so I've moved this to our Private Classifieds area for that reason. I left a re-direct link behind in the DVD forum where you originally posted. Hope this helps, |

Neil,
Interesting idea. I'll have to look more into that for personal projects. But i was looking for the 3x wide angle lens for the XL1s, not an adapter. after along talk with my DOP, we agreed on a real wide angle lens instead of simulating one. ~Mike |

by all means
by all means, if you can afford a good lens, its easier than making one.
This was for a GL1 also, the XL1 lens is a bit bigger. I did make a 72mm lens for my DVX that has worked exceedingly well- but I don't know if that's big enough for your camera http://www.neilslade.com/Papers/DVXlens.html Again, significant money saved if you've got the time. If you've got the dough, easier to just pay cash. |

FOR SALE: XL1, XL1-S, XL2 3X Wide Angle Lens
I am the second owner of this awesome autofocus lens. I have used it for a total of about four hours. Inside of the lens hood there is a soft feltish material that is slightly scuffed in a few places, and there are a few scuffs on the lens body from the lens bag rubbing. These of course do not effect the performance of the lens whatsoever. Mechanically, electronically & optically this lens is apsolutely perfect.. It comes with a Canon lens hood, the original front & back lens caps as well as the original lens bag (everything you see in the photos) For detailed photos of the ACTUAL lens - visit here --> http://www.embraced-dc.com/XL_wa_lens/
Asking $999 OBO Shipping & Insurance: $20 Local pick-up available in west-central Minnesota (near St.Cloud) If you've got any questions email me - jeff@embraced-dc.com Thanks guys! For use with your XL1, XL2 or XL1-S. Last edited by Jeff Jassky; August 4th, 2005 at 06:56 PM. |

Hmm, you must be confusing this with the stock lens. 3X doesn't have image stablization.

I'm sorry. I was writing descriptions to sell all of my XL1 stuff. I got my descriptions screwed up. You're correct - this lens does NOT have Image Stabilization.. and this is in fact the 3X Wide Angle lens. Sorry for any confusion guys.
