HDD Enclosure
Hi! Do you still have the HDD enclosures for sale? I already have FS-1. Tried two different brand of HDD enclosures but happened to be incompatible with FS-1, one couldn't be recognized by FS-1 even after firmware donwgrade and the other doesn't record clean. Therefore, I'm looking for HDD enclosures which already have been tried with FS-1. If you still have the enclosures and wish to sell, please let me know the models, HDD capacities and price. Many thanks

Your prices for both of these cameras are a little high, as the Xl2 can be purchased for about 500 US dollars less from B&H new (700 Canadian dollars less) than you are asking. Also, the DVX100A is about 70 US dollars cheaper new than your asking price, also from B&H.

I agree that the prices are rather inflated. As a fellow Canadian, I realize we must pay more than Americans for the same product, but we could very likely find these new for the same price in Canada.

Xl1s
The lens is the Canon 16x zoom lens that came standard with the XL1s. I have some pictures but am out of town until Wednesday. I can email you the pictures then. The camera is very clean with no scratches or signs of wear. "Like New". I have always been careful and kept it in the case when it was not being used or in transport.

Just a bump here.
However, these videos are great instruction videos. They really explain the basics that would have taken quite a bit of time to learn. |

Interested in your JVC for sale
Hey Tommy...please email me at "rozejolie@yahoo.com" or call my cell:512-644-4334. I'm very interested in your JVC for sale. Need to finish a Masters' Thesis project, looking for dependable, less expensive camera. Is the warranty transferable? Thanks, God Bless, Roze
p.s. looking to buy now :-) |

How do you like the 501 head? I've heard it's not as fluid as it should be, and a little jiggly when the fluid is loosened up all the way. Have you used a 503 or higher? If so, how does this compare?
thanks, Geo! P.S., I checked out some of your site. You've done some really nice stuff, congrats. I watched Broken and was totally impressed, with your work and the acting and color as well. |

Bill- What you have heard about the 501 is correct. Do not use with wimpy legs!

i've found the 501 to be more than sufficient for the DVX, especially with the 515mv legs.
