FS: Canon FU-1000 ISO FU-500!
Anyone with a FU-500 color viewfinder that they'd like to trade plus cash for a Canon FU-1000 B&W viewfinder? I've got an XL1s body that just needs a color viewfinder.
drop me a line at Matthew@jewsfortruth.org thanks, Matt

I would like to see the camera
Sid,
If you haven't sold your XL2 yet, I'd like to discuss meeting you to have a look at it. I live in LA so maybe we could meet halfway or at a place you're comfortable with. I would want to have some kind of guarantee in the event there are problems with the camera. Does the canon have an hours meter? I'd like to have an engineer check it out. If the camera looks good I can offer a cash downpayment to hold the sale, and then pay the balance through paypal. After I pay the balance I could arrange final pickup of the camera. Let me know if this sounds reasonable. Paul |

Looking To Buy a Mic for my GL2
I'm looking to buy a shotgun mic and XLR adapter for a GL2. I'm shooting a short film with little funds, so any help with the price would be good. My budget for the mic is 550 obo. Pleasee either reply here or send an e-mail to mat@relms.com. Thanks all.

Just thought I'd let everyone know the Glidecam is no longer available. Thanks for your interest.

Matthew,
I couldn't find a reference on the Varizoom page, but is the monitor 16:9 and 4:3 switchable?

Mat,
I think you can find something in that price range. There will always be trade-offs with a limited budget (don't I know). I think folks have answered this so many times in the audio forum that they may not want to re-plough that ground. I don't have the expertise to advise you beyond what I've read others write here at DVinfo: Beachtec DXA-8 $369 AT-897 $279 Of course, I busted your budget and we haven't even bought the XLR to connect it or given any thought to a windscreen or isolator. Dang budgets!
