Dennis, has this been tested on a DVX 100a? I've been reading your thread over at pana3ccduser and am getting pretty interested in this thing.

It hasn't, but I can virtually guarantee it will work just fine. I can zoom well past (not to suggest you should btw) the vignetting in 16:9 mode on the GS400...which has a 15% wider field of view than 4:3 mode. So in 4:3 mode there is even more leeway....and this applies more to the DVX100's 4:3 CCD footprint.
The rear barrel section is threaded and therefore adjustable about 1/2" to allow even more leaway. |
