WTS: Canon XL2 & a few accessories
Hey all,
I'm getting the JVC GY-HD100U cam so I'm selling the Canon XL2. I used it to film one short film so it probably has about 10 hours of usage and that's overstating it a little. I've used only the best miniDV tapes in it, I used my smaller miniDV camera to capture and I've had a UV protector filter on it at all times. It's in pristine shape. Ships with original box, the 20x Canon lens, battery, charger, all accessories, and I will also include a 2 filter set including the UV filter & Polorizer ($79), and an extra larger capacity battery (model LIC941 $79). Asking price is $3800. Thanks! Either shoot me an email or respond to this thread. |

Just FYI:
You can use a smaller camera with a rig designed to take a heavier load by adding weights to the camera stage -- it will behave as though it has a heavier load. But you can't go the other way around: use a heavier camera on a rig designed to take a lighter load.

Jeff:
Why? Isn't it a 58mm thread-mount adaptor? Jason |

Dennis is a good seller
I bought some XL2-related stuff from Dennis. He's an honest guy.

Scott,
Thanks for the info and advise - I think I'm leaning toward a cheaper rig like the Smooth Shooter/4000 set up. That decision will also allow me to pick up the wide 3:1 XL-1 lens. Would you have a line on either of those, by any chance? Thanks again. - Jim |

Thread title changed. Was: "FS: Canon GL1 with Mini35." There is no P+S Technik Mini35 in this package. Instead, it's a homemade 35mm adapter. New title is now "FS: Canon GL1 with Homemade Adapter."

Ok thanks. Yeah, I was unsure about the titling, I was going to put it in quotes but it looked kind of funny.

I have a GL2 and am interested in the adapter. How much would you want for it?

FS: Bogen/Manfrotto 3001 Tripod (Legs Only)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a virtually new 3001, used maybe three times. Absolutely flawless condition. This is a great entry-level set of pro sticks, ideal for DVX-class support on a budget. Street price new $90. Asking $55 plus shipping. I'm continuing to clear out my video and audio gear, so please don't hesitate to ask questions or make an offer. Especially make an offer. Email: aatkinson@wwlp.com. Thanks! |

I would also like to know the price, hours, and age of your camera. Also, do you still have the original box?

For everything complete I'm asking $2200 OBO. I do not have the original box but it's the only thing I do not have. I purchased the camera new in Oct. '04 and it has 75 hours on it.
