My Whole Xl2 Kit!!!

It is with great sadness that I write this but it is time to move on. My (sob!) xl2 has stood me thru a great deal but it is time to let her go (no!!!). I'm upgrading my whole kit so I'm selling of this one. It is very extensive and would allow a shooter to open up and go. Here is the list of what is in the kit along with some prices I grabbed off of the net:

New xl2 kit $3399.45+ tax
Used xl2 kit $2895.00 + tax

Sony GVD-1000 Mini DV VCR
new $1049.95 + tax

Sennheiser ME66/K6
new $479.00 + tax

ME62 Head Adorama
139.95 + tax

Sennheser evolution wireless lav set
used $ 450.00

Rycote Softie
New $229.00 + tax

Nebtek 5" Monitor - NEB50XL
New $559.00

Bogen/Manfrotto 523PRO LANC Remote
New $367.95 + tax

Image 2000 Shoulder support
New $389.95 + tax

Sony 8042q Field monitor
Used $450

Lee filters lightweight video hood wth Converter ring for XL
New $598.00

Tiffen Square ND.6 Grad
New 129.95

Tiffen 72mm Soft F/X Glass filter
New $81.80

Kata CCC-10 Camcorder Case
New $239.00 + tax

Canon VL-10LI On camera light
New $63.99 + tax

$8776.99
$ 724.10 tax
= $9501.09

Everything is in great condition, between a 7 1/2 & a 9.
Camera has 4 batteries altogether, 2 BP-945, 2BP-927. Most of the kit was purchased at B&H or off of this site.

The Purchase price was over 10K and I would like to get ... 20K!!!! but I would settle for $6500 for the kit as a whole, plus shipping.

I'm not thinking of piecing it out right now, too painful. if it doesn't sell soon as a kit I will think about it. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I might have a friend who would be interested by the camera. Do you have some pics that you can post or send ? (messier_phil@yahoo.ca). And would you be able to send the camera in Montreal(Qc,Canada) ?

Thx

Panasonic ag ez1 for sale

I have a panasonic ag ez1 for sale. Its one of the first 3ccd mini dv video cameras. It records in 16x9 and progresive frame. Its in good shape, it records and plays back properly, all buttons/funtions work, and the lens is in good shape with no scratches or fungus. The camera does however have a few white pixels when the gain is all the way up and it decreases with less gain. With no gain and good lighting there is no dead pixels. Hardly noticable in everyday use. The sale will include the camera, a 52 mm lens hood that makes it easier to handle, battery charger and 4 good batteries. Would make a good backup camera. $500 includes free shipping and no charge for paypal.

Looking for Sony FX-1

Hello all

Just thought i'd put this out there - I'm in the process of upgrading and have decided to go the Fx1 route -

Was wondering if anyone are planning to sell their's - please feel free to let me know - I've got a budget (doesn't everyone ?) so i obviously can't spend tons but i'm willing to pay a fair and reasonable price .. Would love to buy local *in vancouver* but am willing to buy from elsewhere in N.America. I'm a verified paypal user and if you live in Seattle i can even drive down there.

Let me know what you have (Extras/hrs on head/condition) and we can chat. Thanks!

BTW- Happy New Year everyone!!

You'll do better and sell quicker if you price out each component. There are lots of people looking for speifics, but few who will wnt your whole kit.
Fwiw, I sold my clean XL2 to someone on this board for $2400 two months ago. I think that's a fair price.
Good luck.
