FS: Lots of Photo & Video Gear
I'm going through and doing some end of year house cleaning and figured I'd post some gear for sale.
1. Nikon D50 w/ 18-55mm lens: In perfect like new condition, several thousand shutter uses, comes with original box and all original materials. $550 2. Nikon Mount Sigma AF 28mm 2.8 Lens - On 1-10 scale it is an 8, great light prime with macro focus ability. $150 3. Nikon Mount Sigma AF 105mm 2.8 Macro lens: On a scale from 1-10 it is a 10, comes with case, all documentation, caps. Super sharp excellent macro lens, tons of reach and can do a 1.6 magnification in addition to 1:1 macro work. Excellent glass and top notch quality. $400. 4. Nikon mount Vivitar Series 1 70-200 2.8 constant zoom lens. On a scale from 1-10 the glass would be a 9 and the lens itself would be a 7. It works PERFECTLY. Vivitar doesn't have the best reputation but in my tests this lens is as sharp as the Nikon 70-210 D lens and costs a lot less. It is built like a tank, no tripod collar, used for weddings and some nature work. Very strong build, but has broken filter ring at the front. Glass is clean and lens is very sharp and smooth with no barrel distortion. $300. 5. Panasonic GS-9 Camcorder - I don't know the hours but it has only been used as a deck. Ideal choice to import footage although it does not transmit timecode. I'm guessing it most likely has 30 hours on the head all trasmitting footage via firewire. I do not have the box but have camera, AC power, battery, firewire cable. $150. All items do not include shipping and if paying by paypal please add 3% for paypal fees. If interested you can email me at jordan604 (@) carolina.rr.com or PM me at this name through DVXUser.com |

Trade: Canon XH-A1 & Firestore for HVX200
Canon XH-A1, mint purchased new at B&H weeks ago. I also have a Firestore FS4 HD (also bought new at B&H at same time) that works perfectly with the A1 (in both SD and HDV modes) for true tapeless workflow. The Canon has NEVER had a tape run through it- so it has ZERO hours on the tape transport heads as I used a Firestore from day one...this is about as new as you'll get.
I am 100% happy with the video this camera produces but think a P2 workflow would be better suited to the work I record. I normally only record a few minutes a day at work and compile the footage later into a larger project. (I'm a custom painter and show projects painted from start to finish and usually just shoot a few minutes per day)....so a P2 workflow would work much better for me than setting up a Firestore everyday for a few minutes of video. The Canon XH-A1 will be sold with box and manuals and everything as when purchased new- I have the B&H receipt for $3999 and $979 receipt for the Firestore FS4 HD....I also have 2 of the largest batteries you can use with the A1 and circular polarizing filters....paid just over $5000 weeks ago. Looking for a local NYC area HVX200 as I don't want to deal with trading via shipping......any questions- feel free to ask. |

Let me know if you will consider a shipping trade. I am in the exact opposite situation as you. I love my HVX but I need a tape(long form) workflow right now.
