FS: 6 NEW full-size Sony DVCAM tapes (64min)
I accidentally ordered the wrong tapes from B&H... got the large format DVCAM tapes instead of the Mini ones, and B&H will not take them back. These tapes are brand new, never used.
3 PVD64 ME (with memory chip) 3 PVD64 N (without memory chip) Looking to trade for 6 Sony MiniDV Excellence tapes with or without memory, but will take $110 shipped for all 6 if no trade. Sorry, must get rid of all 6 at once. Cash, check, money order, or paypal. |

FS: VX2000 and Letus35A
I plan to upgrade to HD soon since I am not doing so many weddings anymore. The VX2000 has the same optics and chips as the PD150, so it has the best low-light sensitivity of any 1/3" camera out there. Mine is in excellent shape and has been kept in an airtight Doskocil case it's entire life. I have avoided, as best as possible, fast temperature and humidity changes by keeping it in this case. This camera has never eaten a tape or had a significant tape dropout. A few years ago I had a minor dropout in part of a few frames, but I think this was the fault of the tape. The VX2000 does not have an hour meter, but I have probably done 150 weddings and always run just under two tapes. I can not detect any dead pixels in either the CCD or LCD.
Included with the camera is a Canon WA58 wide-angle adapter that has lived on the camera since it was new. I have rarely removed the adapter, so the camera's lens is pristine. The adapter has minor blemishes in the coating, but no scratches that harm the image. I have the included NPF330 battery and an NPF960 all-day battery. I still have the original lens hood and since it does not fit over the WA58 it hasn't been used much. I am asking a reasonable $1100, which is less than comparable models go on ebay. The VX2000 is my only digital still camera, so I will need to borrow a camera from a friend to show any pictures. Send me a message through this board if you are truly interested. The other item is my Letus35A that I got late last year. This model has the achromat, but not the metal mounts. I have added front and rear caps to keep out dust. I also cleaned the unit thoroughly and adjusted the backfocus. Everything is in good working order and the lenses fit snugly on the mount. I am planning to upgrade to something like the Brevis35 which has replaceable focusing screens and metal lens mounts. I am asking $225 for this Letus35A which is probably cleaner than a new Letus. |

Interested.
What is the equivalent field of view (lens focal length) of this camera? I'm assuming it's fairly wide-angle. How is the video and audio quality? I know it specs at 30fps, but does it look like your typical webcam-type footage? Thanks, Tony! |

Yah, well, isn't that how it goes. Prices on these have been stable for years, now B&H is overstocked so they run a special.
If anyone wants to submit an offer, go ahead, or go buy it from B&H. Guess I'll just let this thread die, wait for the special to run it's course, then relist it later. ciao, Scott |
