Matrix Pro Video in Vancouver BC, Canada has a DSR-250 package on their clearance page for a nice price. It is brand new of course, which may make it even more attractive to you.
I can also highly recommend Matrix as a dealer, especially when it comes to pro Sony gear. Cheers, |

I'll take it... no way to battery power it though huh? That is the only drawback for field use.

Datavideo wrote me back and said an extra DC source could be used, just needed to be clean.

I just posted this on Craigs list but I would like someone here to get this camera as I know it will go to someone who will use it. For sale, 1 low hours DVX100a camera with full acc. W/T original shipping box $2,500.
It is in like new condition. 20hrs on the camera with Barry Greens DVX book and DVD. I have two HVX200 and this camera is never used, so it is time to sell it to someone who will use it. I will take personal checks, but they have to clear first before I ship the camera. Otherwise a bank draft or post office money order will get faster shipping. E-mail me at paynefullproductions@yahoo.com for info on where to send the money and how you would like to have it shipped. I will pay for USPS priority mail or ground shipping from UPS both insured. You pay for any express shipping service. It comes with all the acc that I got when it was new as listed in the manual, Panasonic battery, AC adaptor, AC cable, DC cable, wireless remote new in the bag, mic holder new in the bag, mic holder adapter W/screws new in the bag, and shoulder strap new in the bag. I used the tape but I'll give you a new one too. It has the original Leica lens hood/with lens cap and the eyecup. It also comes with a set of three Bower lens filters, a UV, a polarizing filter and a F-DL filter. And I'll add a pretty good tripod, a Velbon PH-368 with a fluid head to the deal. It is all in like new shape, no dents, dings or scratches, I take care of my equipment. David M Payne |

FS: Sony PD100a w/accessories
For those not familiar with the Sony PD100a it's basically a beefed up version of a TRV900. It is a small 3-chip camera with many pro features and it's built like a brick. I don't really want to sell it but since I barley ever use it, if I can find a good home I would be willing to let it go.
It has been used as a second backup to my PD170 and PD150 and since it shoots nice video and is compact I usually bring it along. It has been carried to many jobs but rarely used so it has some normal wear. It always travels in a Pelican case so it has been well protected and never dropped. I would estimate that I have run 10-15 tapes through the camera but that is a very high estimate. It comes with two batteries (the 330 and 540), a Sony 0.7 wide angle lens, two lens hoods (one for the 0.7 and one for the camera), a UV filter (the UV filter has a small chip in the corner but it does not show in the video), a hot show XLR adapter (which was used once, it sounds like crap and if you need XLR buy a Beach-Tek because this thing is useless), and a Porta-Brace cover to protect the camera from the elements. I also have the original box. I would like to get $850 for the whole package. If you have any questions at all or if you would like to see some pictures let me know.
