FS: Canon GL-2 With Extras!
Hello everyone. I haven't been on these boards in such a long time. I used to film for a DVD, but quit back in July 2005, so I stopped filming/videoing and then got into digital photography. Now that I'm a full time college and journalism major, I never used my video equipment and concentrate only on photography and writing.
Anyways, I have a CANON GL-2 that has gotten maybe 10 minutes or less of use since July 2005. Now that I'm into digital photography, I'm going to sell my GL-2 and my Nikon D70s (body only) to get the new Nikon D200 to go with all my other Nikon lenses and gear. I have a mint 100% working order Canon GL-2 with original boxes and papers, and warranty that I never filled out. I also have all the original wires, charger, battery etc. For accessories, which include all their original boxes I have: -- Two "knock-off" of the biggest sized batteries (BP-945) -- Canon Wide-Angle lens (WD 58-H) -- Canon Light (VL-3) -- Hard Pelican Case -- Random Cleaning stuff and head cleaner tape. -- Fire wire Cable AND... All the other random originals that came with the camera and accessories. I bought the GL-2 in January 2005 and used 11 tapes through it. I always babied it and took excellent care of it. I always used the same Sony Premium tapes (blue) as well. The camera is in perfect condition and has no problems. It has no marks on either lens. It has a small scuff on the out side of the LCD, but not on the actual LCD itself. I'm asking $1900 but willing to negotiate. Please if you’re interested email me, entitled GL-2 INTEREST, as I don't check these boards much anymore. I have tons of pictures of everything; don’t hesitate to ask about them. ALSO (if you’re interested) I have a NIKON D70s Digital SLR camera, body only, for sale. I purchased it in December 2005, and it is as-new. I have all the original boxes and accessories. Asking $630 for the NIKON D70s Body Thanks! EMAIL: patricksmith04@hotmail.com ONE GL-2 Picture: http://img478.imageshack.us/img478/1...noingl21kj.jpg

No Parting on the GL-2; unless someone doesn't want something.

I forgot to metion that I never played back footage on the GL-2. I used a Canon Optura 300 for playing back footage and importing footage to my PC.

Lowel DP, Lowel D, Aluminum Case & More
1 Lowel DP - includes (2) 750w, (1) 1K bulb, protective screen, ac cable, spare reflector.
The Lowel DP-Light is a powerful workhorse. It's a powerful key, backlight or background light. Add an umbrella or diffusion for soft key or fill light. Swap to the super-spot reflector for long throws, or customize it with a variety of other accessories. The DP is built for a long multi-use life. This fixture is supplied with a 120 volt AC power cord. Change the cord, or use a plug adapter, and use the DP-Light anywhere in the world with the appropriate bulb. At B&H with a 1K bulb this light alone costs $166.95. 750w bulbs cost $29.95 each. 1 - Lowel Dichroic Filter for Lowel DP Converts tungsten (3200K) to the approximate daylight (5500K) color temperature and absorbs U.V. light. The expected light loss is approximately 50% (one f-stop). Requires either the Complete Barndoor or the Barndoor Frame for mounting. B&H price is $99.95. 1 - Lowel Quartz - the original Lowel DP. Needs to be rewired and have plug replaced. Very sturdy steel light. 1 - Aluminum Case - holds the two lights firmly. Priced to sell at $200 plus shipping. |

FS: DVX100a Andromeda with M2 adapter and other stuff
Well I just finished shooting my short project yesterday and am selling off some equipment to fund the next stage (re: Intel Macs). Everything has been purchased in the last 2-3 months. Basically it's the complete setup to use the Andromeda with the Redrock adapter, just add a Mac (though if you're interested in a 15" 1.67Ghz PowerPC Powerbook, let me know).
Local pickup would be great, but I'm staying firm on the shipped price (I'll deliver to your doorstop though, if you're in Portland). Also, i'll be taking a road trip through California, Las Vegas, Tempe, and San Diego later this month, and can meet if you're anywhere near any of the major freeways I might be passing if you want to "pick it up" for any of the major items. Payment through money order or check (checks will have to clear first), I have Paypal but it's a business account and I get charged to receive payments, so please add 3% if you want to pay that way. Or cash if it's a local pickup. Again, all this has been used for only one project. Here's the list: 1) DVX100a with Andromeda upgrade (and everything that comes with it). Also have all the original documentation/accessories/box for the DVX. I bought the DVX off this board from David M. Payne, and it only has seven hours on the head. Also includes: - Two 80-gig Firelite drives (for 160 gigs total raided). As you can see from the picture, the drives are attached to what I affectionately refer to as "the cage", whose only purpose is to make sure the USB connections don't come loose during recording. I'll throw that in too if you want it. http://www.cosgro.com/img/cage1.JPG http://www.cosgro.com/img/cage2.JPG - Two 16-foot BAFO USB active extension cables (because you can't use regular USB extension cables) - Barry Green's DVX book and DVD $4700 shipped http://www.cosgro.com/img/dvx001.jpg http://www.cosgro.com/img/dvx002.jpg 2) Redrock 35mm adapter w/Nikon mount (see note below), shipped in the original box they sent it to me in (with everything else). It's the Indie SD Bundle. I'm basically looking to recoup the investment (though I'll eat the $50 shipping they charge, and pay for yours). $1000 shipped Arriflex PL mount $450 shipped http://www.cosgro.com/img/m2.JPG 3) Nikon lenses - I bought them all off eBay and am looking to get about 75% of what I paid, shipped: 24mm f/2.8 $130 shipped 50mm f/1.4 $70 shipped 80-200mm f/2.8 $400 shipped http://www.cosgro.com/img/80-200.JPG The thing is, I ended up not using the 35mm adapter and the lenses - I did a bit of testing with them, but ultimately decided against them for the project. The PL mount has never even been opened (during the two month wait for the adapter, I decided to go with Nikon lenses instead). Since I got all the lenses off eBay, i have the original listings and can send .pdf's of them to anyone who's interested. 4) 8-foot Kessler crane $440 shipped Includes lifetime warranty through the manufacturer (I'll include the receipt). - a Bogen/Manfrotto 501 Fluid head w/rapid connect plate, for use with the crane: $130 shipped 5) Glideshot dolly - this one: http://www.glideshot.com/catalog/pro...d82f72756e7b35 $175 shipped If you're local I'll throw in 30 feet (six 10-foot tubes) of white plastic track from Home Depot. 6) 10' x 12' greenscreen from eefx.com, basically the best greenscreens in the business (foam-backed fabric). It includes a rod-pocket along the top so you can hang it on a pole (an extra $35 option when you buy it retail). There are some duct tape marks on the top edge, but I suspect they'll wash out (I'll try washing it if someone is interested). http://eefx.com/eefx2/store/item_ck_bkg.html $120 shipped 7) Nikon D50 (camera body only) - I bought it refurbed with a one-year warranty from Cameta Camera, paid $433 (will include receipt) $350 shipped I'm also on eBay with a ton of feedback and they're all positive, username cosgro. Thanks! |

Training Books and DVDs for Sale
All prices include shipping to U.S. addresses (except Alaska and Hawaii). In most cases, I’ve provided links to Amazon.com and have set my prices to match the lowest used price (but of course their prices do not include shipping). All items in great shape unless otherwise noted.
I also have a Britek light kit and a tripod (Bogen 501) and case that I’ll list soon, but feel free to contact me about those items as well. Why am I selling? The more I learned, the less I knew. I sold my DVX about a month ago because I realized that I don’t have the time or desire to make my own movies. (At one point, I thought I had both.) You can e-mail me or respond here. Check, cashiers check, money order, but no paypal.
