Canon XL1s for sale
I have upgraded to a new Canon XL2 so this XL1s needs to go to someone who is looking for a good buy. This unit has never been used as a deck as I have a full blown studio with capture deck for those chores. It’s always traveled in a padded case, been cleaned on a regular basis and very well taken care of. It does have one large scratch on it, located on the top carry handle (see pictures). Other than that it’s ready to go back to work for the buyer. My three year old XL1s comes with:
Canon XL1s body w/original color VF 16x IS lens (1) BP-930 battery Generic AC/DC charger (car charger cord included) MA-100 XLR adapter/shoulder pad Lightwave windscreen Clear glass UV filter (always on to protect lens) Canon shoulder strap Canon lens cap No other accessories will be included in this sale. The camera has never given me any mechanical trouble and has been a good performer during the type of run and gun shooting my video production business requires. It’s still got lots of years of dependable operation left in it for someone who needs a good, solid 3 CCD camera. I shoot video for hunting industry, hence the camo job on the camera. I hide from animals for a living, so the white body parts on the camera had to be covered. The camo tape is a special type that leaves no residue when removed, so you can remove it if you want or I can do it for you. There is, however, one thing about the lens you should know. I blacked out the white part of the focus ring with a permanent black marker because I could never get the tape to stay on that small, much handled area. Price: $1650 firm, plus shipping/insurance and PayPal fees if applicable. Pictures can be found at http://www.fulldrawoutdoormedia.com/CanonXL1s.html Interested? Shoot me an email to editor@texasoutdoorsman.com.

If you manage to sell to someone with a DVX or other cam, I'll be interested in your relay lens.

What consumer brand camera for capture/ 24p 2332?
Can't afford to buy a deck at this juncture. Don't want to tax the heads of my camera.
What inexpensive consumer brand camera do you recommend that I can purchase to review video shot on my Canon XL2? I'll be shooting a lot of 16:9 24p 2332? Thanks. Chuck |
