I can read it on the camera but it won't load onto the computer. Elsewhere on the site they said you couldn't do that. Were you able to download any footage on your computer?

i never try, i just put a jvc a 720p30 jvc HD1 into my new FX1 and was a bit surprised to read it (mainly because my FX1 is a PAL model 1080i50 and my HD1 is the US model). It is strange that if it displays on the LCD of the cam , it should go out on the firewire too....
Will give a try next time.

Actually......I only ran a cleaner thru it after about 2-3 tapes, but one time i noticed a drop out so I cleaned it. I also only ran it thru very quickly, not a long time. Picture is crisp.

I Just had serviced/cleaned two days ago at "The Video Clinic" in Santa Monica... which is an authorized Panasonic maintenance shop.
PERFECT working order.

$2,000 takes all. Prefer local Los Angeles pick up but will consider sending via insured UPS.
I'm selling because I need $ for more P2 cards for my HVX.

Also I have a Chrosziel 4X4 matte box made specifically for the DVX-100. I bought it two months ago from "EVS" in Glendale (paid $900). Used several days on a documentary I just wrapped. Will sacrifice and sell for $700 (this matte box is BRAND NEW). Once again I’m selling this matte box because I’m upgrading to the HVX matte box.

Just a comment about before, it really does produce a great picture from what I've seen Ben post with it, even before some of the improvements he's listing, it was making a BANG-UP picture really, really good.
