It works with batteries, I've used Tekkeon Battery Pack with it...but No Battery or Battery Mounts Included.

We used to practice flying the rigs together and record each other. The arm was fully loaded down with very little if any on the adjustment screw. This is what i've been using and have used it as a counterweight to my shoulder mount or my tripod rig, I personally dislike using Velcro to mounting accessories...I also have used the monitor with Jibs.

Take a look at the picture for more accurate information.
It also include the Canon EOS EF adapter so you can use canon EF lens on this. I never mount the adapter on the camera. The cap on the camera never been open yet. price droped to $800 OBO Shipped priority in the USA. Let me know if you have question.
