Hey there!

Just set up a website and video for what it is I'm selling: SALE: XH-A1 & Letus Extreme

Basically it's a pretty complete camera package in very good shape. I purchased a 7D about a year ago and have been using both systems side-by-side since then. To me, they're pretty much comparable--each with a different set of strengths and weaknesses. The footage actually cuts well together, with a bit of color correction. It's been nice to be able to choose one or the other based on what I'm shooting. The A1 produces nice rich images and I actually prefer its color. The fact that you can plug your external mic in directly is a *huge* plus for me, and of course for heavy motion the A1 kills-- as the 7D's rolling shutter can be problematic.

I've been really satisfied with this XH-A1 / Letus combo. Definitely takes a bit of getting used to -- the setup time can be frustrating at first-- but once you get the routine down it can be a snap to get up and running and is ultimately still a flexible system. I think the results have been well worth it-- hopefully you'll agree!

If you decide to sell the hood separately, might be interested, just picked one up on eBay under $20, and after modification looks pretty slick on my CX550V, wouldn't mind a second one for the b cam, better than the cheap chinese hoods I was using!

I picked up these two cameras earlier this year to document some family history but haven't used them as much as I thought. HF S200 only has about 10 hours on it (one wedding, two interview sessions) and looks brand new. The T2i has probably shot less than 500 images.
