that IS a lot of money for a handle.

I was going to suggest you use one of these instead:

Manfrotto | 503LV Pan Handle | 503LV | B&H Photo Video

but nothing in life is that simple, the bolt/ thread is different, tho' you may be able to modify it to accept the bolt from your existing Vinten pan bar.

Certainly save a heap of cash.

I have a brand new, never used Manfrotto 521CFI Remote Control for Fujinon and Canon lenses, purchased from B&H a couple months ago that's for sale.

Bought it for my JVC HD200 camera which I just sold, so I have no need for it. My loss is your gain.

Selling my Sony DSR-30 deck in perfect condition. Just cleaned & checked out on 5/21/08 of last year with about 15% estimated wear on the heads. Cost me $105 to have it cleaned & checked out by Azcar International in Pittsburgh.

It's in excellent condition & works great. I used this along with a DSR-20 so it didn't see much us here. I'm the second owner and it was well-cared for by the original owner as his second deck. This is a heavy unit so shipping will be expensive. Looks & performs like new. I just no longer need 2 decks. Any reasonable offer considered.
