WTB Canon XL2
Hello all, I'm looking to purchase a good condition Canon XL2. There's a little catch, however, I'm selling my GL2 and am using that money + some extra for the XL2. So in order to buy your xl2 I will first have to sell the GL2. I'm trying to find someone who will sell me theirs and doesn't mind waiting a little bit while I find a buyer for my GL2. I just don't want to be without a camera for very long, so that's why I'm trying to time the sell and purchase of these two.
Might be a little low but I'm hoping I can find it; looking to buy an XL2 for $1500. |

no I didn't purchase directly from apple. Bought from an authorized dealer. They charge a 20% restocking fee.

I have receipt / proof of purchase if needed and we can verify using the serial number with apple. Also willing to trade for used HMC150 / HPX170 or similar.

DV Sportster Vest and Arm
I am looking to buy a DV Sportster Vest and Arm. I am willing to pay between $300 and $350 US tops. I am also open to compatible vest arm combos other than those made in India and sold as knock offs.

They are all kind of knock-off's, Brian...! Including the Sportster. Doesn't really make much difference at the end of the day (I have $25K arm that is arguably the best made, and yet is not Steadicam brand and thus a "knockoff").
True enough though, I have yet to see a really quality stabilizer product come out of India or China. You might want to check out the Indicam products also.

Letus 35 flip - cavision rails - nikon lenses
I recently sold my Canon HV30 and XL1 and no longer have use for my Letus 35 FLIP, Cavision Rails, and Nikon Lenses. I am offering all of it for sale individually or separately.
I will sell the entire kit for $500 or offer the items individually priced as indicated below. If you are interested in individual items please let me know, but I will wait until Monday 9/28 for full kit offers before shipping individual items. $100 Cavasion R15B80 Rails. As far as I can tell it's about the same as the RS-15IIM rails they are selling now for $170 at BH $100 Nikon Nikkor 50mm 1.4 $ 80 Nikon Nikkor 24mm 2.8 (I bought this lens on ebay this and it has one mark on the front glass. It has been shooting fine for me, but I can shoot some stills from my DSLR if you want to see the image quality before you buy) $ 80 Nikon Nikkor 35-135mm 3.5-4.5 $250 Letus 35 Flip - This is the original Letus 35 Flip which I have modified some during the time I have owned it. It has the original Nikon / Canon mount, but because it was not ever sold it in's original reversible I have glued it in place on the Nikon mount side. I could be changed to Canon FD (not the new EOS system) if you were willing to break the glue and flip it over. I also added a thumb screw to hold the lens firmly in place as the original design had a tendency to release the lenses. I have replaced the vibrating motor because it was prone to stop on me before with two of them for redundancy. I have the battery pack wired so you can select the second motor if the first fails during shooting. I upgraded the screws because the original ones where zinc on an otherwise black body. If you need it I will supply either at step down ring set for the HV20,30,40 or a step up ring for the HVX200 (I have used it on both). Stock it will also fit a DVX100 and XL1/2. It not perfect and currently it has a small chip on the focus screen which is out of frame in 16/9 mode. It still shoots great and $250 it should be a good value. I am happy to take pictures and talk with perspective buyers about everything I know about it. |
