Canon XL H1 and Accessories
I would like to sell my Canon XL H1 and accessories. The XL H1 was purchased new from B&H in August 2006. Camera was very well cared for and is in excellent condition (there is a very small wear mark on the underside of the handle). It was used mostly on corporate gigs and commercial productions. There is one year left under the MACK warranty I purchased for it from B&H in August 2006 - Which I will transfer to the purchaser. I'm also listing the following accessories which I will unfortunately only be able to sell if the XL H1 sells. I am selling this equipment because I am interested in another camera system that better suits the majority of work I do. All equipment save the 16x manual lens was purchased from B&H. Photos available upon request.
XL H1 with all original kit accessories and Canon HC-3200 Hard Case - $4800 Canon 6X Wide angle lens (like new condition) - $1700 Canon 16x Manual Lens - $500 Anton Bauer adapter plate for XL cameras - $80 Anton Bauer Digital HyTRON 140 NiMH battery worth -$300 Anton Bauer Titan on camera AC power/charger -$400 Feel free to contact me anytime by email: benjaminjoelrichardson@gmail.com or by phone: 315-529-2090, and if you happen to be anywhere in Central New York - I'd be happy to meet. |

I know this is going to sound dumb (but 35mm adapters is uncharted territory for me) but, would this setup work on a Sony FX1?

Canon XH-A1 w/ Firestore 120GB (13hr), Anton Bauer plate
Putting the feelers out for my rig as I'm building a new one:
-Canon XH-A1 with a couple hundred hours of use, on-camera microphone is badly loose (shotgun mic holder is solid), firewire port is loose, camera overall is cosmetically decent and functionally great. Shotgun mic holder screw is a little off-center from a bump. -120GB Firestore FS-4HD capable of 13hours of HDV recording time, and very fast footage offloading -- 5-10x realtime. The firestore is well beaten up but works great.. screen has some deep scratches and LCD is sluggish, battery retention clip is broken but battery stays in when attached to the Anton plate. -Anton Bauer plate with extended 8ft cable to camera battery compartment. Cable also has a firewire cable for the firestore. Adapter included to provide power to firestore. -Canon TA-100 camera plate included, tripod plate not included. -camera remote -might be able to find the original battery and include it -original manual Basically the camera remains pretty light as it doesn't have a battery or tape in it. The cables run 8ft (i.e. to a backpack) where the firestore sits being powered by the anton battery plate. Camera and hard drive can do about 8-9hr of continuous recording on a single Dionic 90 or a much more ridiculous runtime on a Dionic 160. Amazing for ENG work. This kit is well used and not in perfect condition.. I'd rate it at decent. It works, but just know that it's nowhere near mint condition. The loose firewire port has been okay for a year but will someday need to be replaced. I looked up the part from Canon and it's $35 without installation. I will consider fixing this for a buyer just because I don't want to deal with unmanaged expectations. Sometimes you have to jiggle the firewire cable to get the firestore to connect. Sometimes you have to jiggle it a little more. Once it 'connects', it's good for a while but if you bump it too hard, you have to jiggle again. I've never had a problem but I don't want to make any guarantees. Asking 3k shipped for everything. 3500 with two used dionic 90 knockoffs and a digital charger. That would make it a totally turnkey system. |
