Not sure about the XLH1.
I got very sharp imaging from my XL2 and use these lenses on my 5D2 and have been perfectly happy. Compared to my Leitz glass I find far more noticable character in the contrast differences... neither being better but Leitz looks very Leica (which I do like). I know shooting photo lenses wide open tends to look softer. You also want to really work towards better lighting. Lenses like light range. I found my 35mm Nikkor 1.4 to be much sharper than my Nikkor 1.2 wide open. I used the following lenses and short of wonky focus pulling was happy with: 16mm f2.8 zenitar 24mm nikkor f2 28mm Vivitar f1.8 35mm 1.4 50mm Nikkor f1.2 (stopped down to f2) 85mm Nikkor f1.8 135mm Sigma f1.8 the star was the 35mm... the fisheye was very helpful. |

Seeking producer/director to purchase short screenplays
Screenwriter seeks Producer for the purchase of screenplays. I have two short screenplays that are ready to move into the production stage. Both range in style and length.
HAROLD FEN'S BRAIN KITTY (13 pages) A recluse and lonely writer is diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and chooses to spend his remaining time finding the perfect home for his best friend, and cat, Mette. © Austin Hartman. 2009. Great HV-30 shooter package
I have a canon HV30 in great shape, low hours on the heads, and never used as a deck. Included are all original accessories plus the original box. Also included is an extra battery, lens hood, century optics .3 fisheye, azden SGM-1X mic with cable, and a lowepro camera/laptop backpack. This is pretty much the ultimate starter package! The fisheye is a direct screw on and doesn't require adapters or step down/up rings. Will have pics up soon, but if you're interested I assure you this is an awesome setup. Asking $800. Shoot me offers.
Edit:I'm sure most people know, but the fisheye lens isn't a cheap lens bought at best buy. Its a century optics and runs about $350-400 retail http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...isheye_HD.html I will throw in a manfrotto 3001bpro tripod with a manfrotto 3130 head for an extra $50. Teleprompter for JVC HD100
I've got a project coming up where I will absolutely need a prompter. I've been putting it off for a long time, but I really need it now.
I'd like one that includes software and is the kind that you shoot through (reflective glass type.) Please name your price. |
