(Two) Canon XH-A1 with MANY extras!
Up for grabs are (TWO) Canon XH-A1 HDV Camcorders.
Both cameras come with all original packaging materials (if you want it shipped to you) and ALL original boxed items (i.e. remote control, charger, power cable, HD Component Cable, Canon Master HDV Tape, Shoulder Strap, etc.) In addition to the original accessory items EACH camera comes with the following: Canon BP-945 (4500mAh) - $100.95 Canon BP-950G (5200mAh) - (included) $119.95 Canon BP-930 (3000mAh) - $66.95 Canon BP-915 (1500mAh) - $39.95 Canon VL-10Li Video Light - $79.95 Varizoom VZ-Rock Lanc Controller - $229.95 Pelican 1510 w/ wheels - $146.50 Plus, little extras (i.e. cleaning cloth, tapes, lanyards, etc.) Both cameras are in like new condition and work wonderfully! They have only been used by me and me alone. They have been well taken care of and babied like you wouldn't believe. The only reason they are being sold is because I recently acquired a RED and I really don't think I can go back to shooting HDV now having my own RED ONE. It would be hard for me to say how many hours they have, my best estimates would put about 90 hours each on them. Never in any harsh environments. I am willing to let these go for $2900 each, or $5650 for both. Buyer pays shipping and insurance. |

Steadicam Pilot with extras
Up for grabs is a LIKE NEW Tiffen Steadicam Pilot with V-Lock
Steadicam | Pilot-VL Camera Stablization System | PILOT-VL | B&H It includes: Vest Arm Center Post Sled Stage Plate LCD Monitor V-Lock Battery Mount Counter Weights Manual DVD CASE PLUS: Extra Counter Weights Stand for Balancing The "Steadicam Operator's Handbook" a 440 Pg book released this year Official Tiffen "Steadicam" Level All this for just $3000 (Batteries not included) a single IDX 7s will get you through an ENTIRE DAY (8 hours non stop NO PROB!) so ONE battery is plenty for this rig. They are $199 at B&H IDX | E-7S Endura Lithium-Ion V-Mount Battery | E-7S | B&H Photo And a quick charger can be purchased NEW for $169 at Enhanced View Services, Inc. It is a lot cheaper route than buying the Steadicam that comes with two batteries and the duel charger. I have YET to get through a single battery in a day! If you want to see what this rig is capable of, you can see a lot of footage on my website at Higher Definition Media in the theater under commercials and weddings, my favorite to date is the ":30 TV Spot for The Hourglass Kitchen and Bar" it's the second commercial on my site. It was done in one single take with NO cuts! Good stuff. The only reason I am selling this rig is I have recently acquired a RED and it is 20lbs when outfitted, which is twice the weight the Pilot is capable of. It's time to upgrade! |

Can you give me some idea of the light loss with this adapter? I know most eat up a stop or two but since this is one of the "elite" adapters I was hoping it would perform better.

Hmm ...
MY mom used to live in Austin, worked at a tech firm -- perhaps she has a buddy there who could come check it out and ship it off to me in Eureka, CA.
Glossy screen or matte? Core Duo or Core 2 Duo? How much Video RAM? Thanks, ~ Shaun shaunotter ( a t) yah oo (d o t) c o m |

I’ll answer your questions when I get home later tonight and can get the info from the Mac itself – I’m not sure on the video ram, and I –think- it’s a glossy screen (though I’m not sure) – I do know it’s 1920x1200.
It’s a Core 2 Duo, Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT (though again, don't know how much VRAM it uses.) It's identical to the model found here, except for the larger screen resolution and screen size (17"), the drive spins at 7200rpm, not 5400, and I've upgraded the RAM to 4GB. http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/appl...-32465635.html I also put Leopard on there - though as I'm in the middle of a move across town, I may only be able to find the original 10.4 tiger discs; I -know- the original copy of 10.5 is around here somewhere, but I've been using a backup of the Leopard install DVD lately. It's probably just buried in some box somewhere. I'll keep looking.

Canon XH-A1 MINT condition with extra batteries
I've got a Canon XH-A1 that is barely a year old with TWO extra long life Canon batteries. I have all the original accessories (except the Canon tape) all in the box. The camera was JUST CLEANED and inspected by Canon so it is in terrific shape! Price: $2900.
