To have it fixed is pretty expensive, but even damaged goods sell for silly prices on eBay... If you dont' go that route and decide to toss it, I'd be interested in another project... but right now have too many projects and not enough $$! I know I've got the service manual around here somewhere for the HC1/A1U! If you like to tinker with small fiddly things, I think it was once posted elsewhere on DVi, if it's not here anymore let me know if you want it! |

When I first read the $550, the first thing that popped to my head was SOLD!!
OK, I obviously want the most amount of money possible just like anybody else so if someone gives me $400, I will toss in my Aiptek A-HD. I have the successor, the A-HD+ so I don’t really need it. If you think that’s too high just give me an offer and the A-HD wont be included. Shipping is free regardless of how much I get and I‘ll include the original box, instructions, and the electrical cord. Information I will add is that I already sent it off to Sony once to get the fire-wire port fixed and they did a full tune-up of the whole camcorder. Its just too bad it had to drop months after that. Also, the focusing ring got stiff after it fell. I’ll only except a check or money order and if I do get a check, I will not send it off until the bank clears it. I've used this recorder with the canon 5d2 and for a 5 minute clip the "clap" to "clap" sync only required a .1% shit to match audio to the 5d2's..... recording at 1-bit lets you do a really clean speed shift compared to other digital audio recorders.....
