Canon XL2 + extras
I've decided I'm going to get completely out of SD so I'm selling my XL2. It's in excellent working condition. Here's what's included:
-XL2 in original box will all documentation and original accessories (battery, charger, remote, 20x lens, etc.) -An extra high capacity battery -Tamrac 2249 camera case -Bogen 521PRO LANC remote control All for $2,000 plus shipping. A few extras you may consider (I will only sell these with the XL2, I may consider selling them separate after the XL2 is sold.) -Letus35 XL DOF adapter with Nikon 50mm lens I would include for an additional $250. -Varizoom VZ-TFT7 LCD monitor with swivel shoe, ac adapter and two batteries for an additional $200. (The monitor works from ac power, but to use it with the included batteries you need an adapter, which is lost.) I'll try to get some pictures up later. |

ISO: 8MM video cassette to VHS adapter
Maybe a long shot but I know these adapters exist. I have a Sony 8mm tape my dad gave me that survived Hurricane Katrina. He had asked me to transfer this sometime and he passed away last week. Now I really want to find out what's on it because it might be precious memories or it might be random junk he filmed.
Here's the kind of tape it is: MP-120 SONY Video 8 (8 mm Video Cassette) for CAMCORDERS |

Panasonic 16:9 Anamorphic & Cavision Rails
Here is my Panasonic LA-7200 16:9 Anamorphic Lens, wont be needing this as I have my DVX-100A up for sale. Glass is perfect, but I did have to fix the set screw since the original one stripped out. This one works fine and you just tighten it up and turn the nut with a pair of needle nose pliers to set. Here is your chance to get an expensive lens ($750 new from BH Photo) for alot cheaper.
What is included: Panasonic LA-7200 Lens & Caps (rear is not original but works) $250 shipping & paypal included Cavision RS15IIM Carbon Fiber Rod System (retails for (170 on BH Photo) *SALE PENDING* Works perfectly, couple of very small marks and a small paint chip on front piece that will attach to matte box. $100 shipping and paypal included Please email to colinmpritchett@gmail.com if interested. (ebay id colin.pritchett if you want to check me out) Picasa Web Albums - Colin - Panasonic LA-... Picasa Web Albums - Colin - Cavision RS15IIM

I don't see how they could exist. VHS tape is 1/2" wide and 8mm is less than 1/3" wide. I think the adapter you "know" exists is actually a VHS-C adapter.
Here's some more info: Why You Can't Find an 8mm/VHS or miniDV/VHS Adapter |

Gotcha. My memories were crossed. I remembered transferring a tape I recorded on that same 8mm camera about 11 years ago but now when I think of it I used the camera itself and transferred to VHS. Then down the road I had a VHS-C camera that had an adapter.
So are there any trustworthy sources I could use to get this tape transferred to MiniDV? |
