Frozzier Diffusion - on Flourecent

If youve ever used a Kino Flo kit they come with a sort of a fabric sock thing that pulls and ties over the unit on a Diva Light. They call it Frozzier diffusion. Described as a Half stop diffusion fabric.
It works very well and i was wondering if there is a simple Gell or anything else i could get to simulate this material? - as opposed to buying the actual sock which is bellow link:

Hi Tyson,

It's just full stop artificial silk nylon like that available from rosebrand.com on those type of diffusers.

If you're looking for something for your CL-455 in sheet form though, there are two types you can find: some that diffuse and cut light and some that merely smooth light with just a bit of diffusion. For the later, you might try the cracked ice or prismatic styrene diffusion panels like you can get from the acoustic ceiling tile section of home depot. These things are great in that they smooth the light a bit but they don't cut too much light transmission. They say the transmit 95% of the light. You can buy a 2x2 and score and cut it and make two panels. You can fit one panel in the slide-in adapter behind the barndoors.

For more diffusion and cutting of light, the home depot may also have some other styrene translucent panels there that can cut more light too if that's what you need. There are also all kinds of diffusion gels available like hampshire frost, tough spun, 216 and opal for instance. Here's an example:

Hope this helps.
