I hope I'm not stating the obvious but your mattes will lift a lot easier if you pull your screen tight before you start shooting. Spring clips and some sand bags will be much cheaper than the post time.

Im trying to figure out how to use 3DS max and some models from scifi3d.theforce.net. Most of the 3d work with be done in AE. Looking forward to seeing yours. later Jason
