request info on company
I went to the imagewest website and they have great prices on HMI floods. Has anyone here dealt with them before?
Hope this isn't a violation of terms.

I don't know if it is a violation, either, but I want to know about their tripods. They have some very competitively priced heads that compete with Bogen, just for around $200 for the tripod/head set. I'd really like to hear from someone who's used one of these tripods.

I bought a cheap black backdrop from them, 10'X20' with stands, bag. Price was right, around $160 or so. Quality of stands is better than expected. The backdrop itself is so thin I had to double it, but it's long enough I could do that.
I didn't see any cheap HMIs on the site. A Frezzi for $3K. All the rest I saw were fluorescents and tungsten. |

Really helpful that you mention the quality of the stands, since I'm considering a gamble on their tripods.... It's an alluring option, for sure.

I'll second what Bill Pryor said. I cannot speak to their tripods. My dealings with them have been satisfactory. (And the green screen material was, as Bill said about his backdrop, rather thin. Ok for in studio frontlighted use, but not for outdoor use without doubling it.)
