New Ceramic discharge lights from Philips
Does anyone know where to order the
Philips Ceramic ST 250 lights? They are in the new Arri Ceramic X lights, but I'm hoping someone knows where to order just the bulb and ballasts.

Try here:
Seems B & H in NYC has them. Try here, but the url is so long, it's getting
condensed. If the link doesn't work, sercrh the B&H site for Arri X ST 250 or look under: Home/Lighting & Studio/Continuous Lighting/BMI Lighting/Light Accessories/HMI Lamps http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ist&sku=433336 I had no idea they'd be so expensive. Good luck.

Thanks, I was hoping for both the lamp and ballast to see if it would work for a DYI project. Philips does offer both the lamp and ballast for sale to OEMs and/or wholesalers.
If you compare the price to what it would cost (money and energy wise) to have flourecsents putting out 1K of light, it's competitive.
