Question relating to Britek lights
Just received my lights from rostronics. I am based in the UK. Does anyone know where I can get 240V bulbs for these.
1000W (RS1000) 300W 650W Also, lighting stands for the above (postage from US would have been prohibitive). The 300W lamps seem to have a different connector system than the others. |

The bulbs required (3 letters code) are listed on the lamp itself for each power system. You should have no problem finding them locally.
The smaller lamp have a different connector but use the same stand. Any stand with the standard 5/8 male stud will work.

Thanks for the info. I found all the codes on the side of the lamps. The one I have trouble sourcing is the 1000W bulb.
Anyone know of any UK suppliers ??? |

Could you post the ANSI codes from the bulbs that came with the lights? I'd like to have this information

The codes are as follows.
GY650 Lamp - DYR 3200K 650W GY9.5 base UK equiv (240V) - A1/233 G300 Lamp - JCD 3200K 300W G6.35 base UK equiv (240V) - A1/249 RS1000 Lamp - JPD 3200K 1000W R7s base I think I have found an equivalent UK bulb today, just waiting for it to arrive. Looks like the ARRI 1000 lamp uses the same one. P2/35 240V 1000W |
