Looking for some great LED lights
Hello everyone!
I have been thinking of moving to all LED lights. I mostly do weddings, live events, products, and interview type videos. I have a few small fotodiox LED lights which I love but need some more powerful lights. I also want to be able to diffuse them and have a softer light when possible. Any good suggestions out there? Thanks! |

Re: Looking for some great LED lights
I'm a big fan of the Litepanels Astra lights. 4x brighter than the original 1x1 models and at a lower price too. Plenty of output so you can diffuse it and still have plenty of illumination when it reaches the subject. Lightweight and easy to pack.

Re: Looking for some great LED lights
I'll second the Litepanels Astras and also add to Doug's comments; not only lower price vs 1st gen 1x1s and 4x brighter but much better color rendering.
I have got a few blog posts about them and showing them in use: Search Results for “astra lite” – Learning to See .
