Anton bauer lights
I now have gone back to the shoulder mount camera world and can use my Anton/Bauer stuff again. I was going to get the light panels Anton bauer light. Does anyone know why Anton/Bauer is discontinuing most of their lighting stuff?

Re: Anton bauer lights
Maybe the reason is that Anton Bauer and Litepanels are both owned by Vitec, so it doesn't make sense to have one division of the company that specializes in batteries also manufacturing lighting. Just my guess.

Re: Anton bauer lights
Well i tlooks like they are killing everything but their basic ultra light. The Lite panels one was nice because it was a special one that mounted on the ultra light so it was great for quick changes between that and say a ultra daylight or another head.

Re: Anton bauer lights
Manfrotto is also owned by Vitec and has recently got into lighting.
There was a patent battle by Litepanels against other brands. Did it have any impact on Anton bauer? |
