Understanding today's lighting instruments
I feel guilty that lately I haven't had much time to post on DVINFO about lighting as I used to do in the past. We've been very busy but I've been lurking-in occasionally to see what's being said about lighting in general. In my 43 years in this profession I never let trends dictate how I will conduct my business, I have to see it and test it for myself. I wrote this so we can all better understand the status of lighting today, at least in my line of business. I know it will create a bit of controversy but this is the real world.

Re: Understanding today's lighting instruments
thanks for the great article. I'm in the market for a new lighting system and I'm going to take another look at fluorescent lights now that I've read your article. thanks again
