Re: Bower led light
Randy,
I don't have the Bower but the one I have looks like an identical light. The one I have is Chinese made (I guess most are) it has 8 power led bulbs uses the Sony battery (or a power tap) is dimmable and has the on/off switch. The light I own looks exactly like the Bower. Now for how I like it. Not so sure I do. the 3200 or 2800 or whatever filter it is way off color wise. I always use a piece of Tough Spun on the Clear diffusion filter to soften my lights up a bit more so with that on it at full power, I DO use it all the time for outside fill. Like years ago when I used my Anton Bauer Ultralite with an 85W bulb. As long as I'm not more than about 8 feet away outside it works as a nice fill inside, to me, it's way to harsh even with the additional diffusion I put on it. I know a couple of guys here that use it and seem to like it. All I can say is it spends a lot of time in my light case and I only use outside for fill. YMMV!
