on-board camera light ?
Does anyone have any info about what powers the NRG Veralux 56004 on board camera light? I think I need to power it with an external battery but I can't find what the 4 pin XLR connects to exactly.
I am shooting with a Panasonic DVX-100A. Thank you so much in advance. Wonderfully intelligent folks on this site. Steph |

The 4 pin XLR connects to an external battery generally in belt form.
NRG makes a number of different battery belts for use with that light. Different wattages for length of run time, different battery chemistrys although I think most of them are NiCad. There might be a Li-ON belt also. The light will not plug into your camera at all so you must get a belt or a juice box which is a single battery. Bescor also makes 4 pin batteries both belt and juice box that will power the light. Don |
