Actors Tanning
I'm DP for a 30 min short film. Our main actor has a prior commitment to a theater production for which they are tanning him and soon bronzing him before the open. So far it has not been noticable - but we have a 2 week break in shooting during which his final bronzing will be done.
I assume this would be a somewhat common problem out in LA - what is the standard go to plan for this type of problem? *We have a skilled makeup artist coming on set - is there any special products we should purchase for her? *The scene is going to be relatively well lit. I plan on doing some desaturation and adding a little green tint to the background. *I plan on greying a white shirt slightly to reduce the contrast between his skin and shirt.

I have no idea, but shouldn't you talk to your makeup artist to discuss what
he or she needs? I doubt many here are into makeup like that person is/should be!
