Filming a club scene with a strobe light
I just saw the movie Constantine and there was a scene in a bar where a strobe light was present. I was wondering, can you film a strobe light and it will look like it does in real life, or is it done in post by way of editing or some other technique? Strobe lights are in several other movies I can think of like Blade and Collateral, and I was wondering if anyone knew how it's done for sure.

I think it will work just as well with a camera, however, I can imagine
it might require optimizing the frequency it cycles with.

Just remnided me of that great "25th Hour" shot in the glass hallway above the dance floor that was reflecting the dancers by strobe light.
