Best light setup for Night shooting
Hello folks,
I am going to be shooting a short 10minute thriller on a DVX100 about a couple that experience a "hit and run" accident on an isolated highway in the middle of nowhere (yea, been done many times...but I want to practice my camera work). I was wondering if you could recommend a simple light setup that I could purchase that would help light up the night. Since I am also planning to use this light set for other jobs (corporate, interviews, etc), I have a budget of about 2K. Okay, I got my sleeves rolled up. What do you all suggest?? |

Unless your going to use them all the time, I suggest you rent. Then you can acquire specific lighting for specific applications. Lighting is probably the cheapest stuff to rent of any production equipment.
Night shoot...many options which are discussed in other posts. |

I am gonna see if I can rent a portable light tower. They got 'em all over the land here since we're right on the border with Mexico. I can see if I can get the border patrol to turn one of these babies to the left a bit.....
