However I had a bad experience with using the threading. After I used it, there was a problem with the descending screw that tightens on the cameras cold shoe. It seemed to strip a little, or it warped the spring that is inside the assembly (I took it apart to try to fix it). As a result I can't mount the light on a clod shoe anymore, as the screw won't descend enough to tighten. So since then I am weary about threading the light onto a stand. SOny wanted a small fortune for the small piece to replace. It wasn't worth it. |

Just so you know, I don't think that it's just the bottom part, but there is a small spring assembly of some kind inside which I think is the reason that the screw won't descend enough when the tightening dial is turned. |

Khoi, I will have this part listed to the site for sale. I'm sending this piece to Michael to have to try first. We'll wait for his feedback later.
Or if you think this part will fix the issue, you can buy it here http://lacolorshop.com/products/item.asp?Id=cl. If you need to buy more than 1, let me know and we can work something out.
