Using a light meter for video

I have a Minolta flashmeter which also functions as a regular light meter. Obviously, it's for still work. But, is this something that I can use in the world of digital video? My camera (GL2) can do the manual settings, but is using this meter the way to insure proper exposure or am I getting myself into potential trouble?

Thanks

Kent

Hi Kent, lightmeters have been discussed quite a few times. Here are some threads to get you started.
