Can anyone recommend an image projector for gobo lighting to be used in a condo/apartment lobby area?

could depend from the kind of gobo (metal/glass) and diameter.
depends too if you need the gobo rotating or moving.
and depends the power required and the optics needed.

Generally, gobo projection is done with elipsoidal spotlights.

Search that term or "Leko" which is the theatrical shorthand name for the type of fixture.

The size and wattage as well as the diameter of the pattern it requires are all variable.

For very small spaces and patterns for ENG background work, the Dedolight is very popular with road warriors. Small, bright, expensive.

Such is life.
