Using Standard Bulbs in Photoflex Light?
Does anyone know if you can put regular old light bulbs or compact fluorescent bulbs in the Photoflex Starlite units? I have the size adapter to do so, I'm just concerned about trying it. I'm trying to put together a light kit using compact fluorescent bulbs that doesn't pull a lot of wattage that I can take out where electricity is unavailable and run them from an inverter connected to a marine battery.
Thanks! |

Yes it works fine. Many have bought bulbs from us to use in Starlight softboxes and given good reports back.

Thanks Richard! Does anyone know a good place to purchase additional bulb adapters? (to put the smaller size bulb bases in the the bigger Photoflex Starlite)

Maybe try eBay? Search for "mogul to medium" or "mogul to edison" or "E39 to E26 adapter", etc. And various combinations of mixing the terms above with other of the terms too.
Also try those same search terms in Google as well. |
