need help on power for on camera light
I have a EX1 and i just got the s-2000 on camera light and found out I have no power ...
what type of battery do i need to use for power? update: I found that i can use the swit battery with the dtap or i can send back the s-2000 and go with frezzi http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...icro_Fill.html which has battery included in kit which would probably only save me say $40 - $50. how long would the swit last since it has to power both camera and light? all suggestions are greatly welcome and appreciated Last edited by Ron Williams; February 7th, 2009 at 01:09 PM. |

The Swit S-8U62 will power both your camera and S-2000 light for about 2.5 hours. Dimming the light down will make it longer than that. BTW comparing the SWIT light and Frezzi is not apples and apples as Frezzi is not LED technology, it uses more power to achieve the same brightness as LED lights.

ok. i see ... ive read some good things about the s-2000 so im gonna keep that and order the swit battery. I have the anton bauer dionic that i can use for camera if need be for longer shoot times and just use the swit battery to just power the light.
