X3 vs Lite panels mini at DVinfo.net

I have the X3 right now, but have to cover the election in chicago and will most likely be relying heavily on the on camera light as its all outdoors, so I am looking for a little more power, but want to stick with the LED's....has anyone used the X3 and the Mini, and is the mini better? I would assume with the price difference it HAS to be better in someway, but I cant get my hands on one to test it.

any help would be appreciated, I need to get this solved in the next couple days.
