If you're starting out with lighting or feel the need to brush up on the basics, I've roped together a few links to some good starting points for learning about 3-point lighting:

Hey that's me in that thar video :)
Amazing that a quick video we threw together in an hour pulls over 28,000 views on YouTube. Thanks for sharing the video on your blog. I'm glad you found it useful. |

I've seen your name on here but didn't make the link. Actually I looked at quite a few videos and I thought yours was the best presented and most straightforward (I mean that in the positive sense of the word of course). So I'm not surprised at all that you're getting so many views.
You guys seem to have tapped into online video in a way that so many other companies haven't, which I find incredibly ironic as your competitors are doing business day to day surrounded by stacks and stacks of equipment, with staff who usually have the expertise to pull it off. I've only started working full-time on my own company and rest assured that DVCreators will be used as an example of good online marketing practice in my dealings with companies in London. |

Vinny, thanks for mentioning this forum in your blog.
It doesn't surprise me that you selected Guy's video over several others that are out there... Guy and the entire DVCreators crew have always been very good at putting these things together. |

Please, don't thank me - I'd be light-years behind without this forum and have a storeroom full of dodgy equipment I shouldn't have bought.
