Sony's HVL20DMA
Has anyone used this light, I'm looking for a small light for my HDR-HC9, or is there any other suggestions for a small light
Thanks |

Works well for me, add a sto-fen diffuser to the front and it becomes a pretty good, short throw light. I mount mine up on an "L" bracket (you need some sort of bracket anyway), and power with either the 71D or 91D.

Thanks
Dave for the info, I made a mistake in the model, I thought I was going to be able to use my batteries from the HDR-HC9 on this light, but wrong type of battery. I actually need the Sony HVL-20DW2 Video Light instead, this way I can use the batteries from my HVR-Z1U. |

Dave what model of Stofen did you find fit the SONY unit ? Is heat build up an issue?
