Sony 4-day workshop at DVinfo.net

I'm considering attending a 4-day lighting workshop Sony is putting on in San Jose in February. Has anyone here ever attended one of their workshops? I'm looking for feedback on whether or not it has merit and is worth the $1700 to attend. Four days SHOULD make for some good experience.

Wow four days, that's a lot of time for strictly lighting from a company that doesn't really promote lights? Do you have a link we could check out?
