Home Video lighting solution
Looking for a compact solution for lighting, for indoor home use.
What's a good place to start? Inexperienced in this field I'm afraid! Is there such a thing as a "standard" piece of kit? |

Since you did not mention a budget I recommend getting some Dedo lights. They offer the most light for the watt due to their focusing mechanism, and have a reputation as being very sturdy. As compact as they come. I do not know if they are available in your vicinity; check for yourself. For me a "standard" kit contains a 1KW flood, a 650W spot, and a 300W kicker, so that's 2KW total which is about the most load an American home can handle. Your situation may be different.
