SLT with LAEA4 and Metabones E to EF?
Question. Wondering if anyone has tried the following for putting Canon EF lenses on the SLT cameras, including the SLT-a99.
Sony A-Mount to E-Mount Lens Adapter with Translucent Mirror Technology mfr# LAEA4 gets you to E mount. Metabones makes the EF to E adapter to get you from, well, EF to E. What do you think? |

Never mind. That LAEA4 is adapting in the other direction. There is no way to put an e mount lens on an a mount camera. I swore there was.

Re: SLT with LAEA4 and Metabones E to EF?
The flange back distance on the α-mount is 44.5mm while the Canon EF mount is 44mm. The EF to α adapter would have to be 0.5mm thick, which probably wouldn't be enough room.
